Harp Biodigesters

Harp CX Series is a range of aerobic food waste digesters which are capable of digesting 100 up to 5,000 kg of food waste per day, reducing it’s volume by an average of 70%. In a short 24-hour period, the bio-digesters produce a nutrient rich, premium output that can be used as a soil enhancer, biomass fuel or anaerobic digestion feedstock. Our innovative technology retains the increasingly important nutrients that would otherwise be lost to the breakdown and decay of food waste in bins or at landfills, as methane and Carbon Dioxide are released into the air. Instead, the valuable end product is then used to replenish soils that have been excessively harvested, replacing the carbon, ammonia and phosphorus that helps inspire strong growth.

There are six different models available in the range. Wakan Environment experts will complete an onsite survey and then design and size the correct digester to match your requirements. Wakan also offers a full Aftersales service experience in which Wakan specialists look after all maintenance required. ​​

The Harp unique enzyme/microbes are specifically designed to optimize the decomposition of Organic Waste within the process i.e. to work in high temperatures with enhanced respiration. This process enables the continuous decomposition of organic matter to a dry nutrient-rich organic fertilizer within 24 hours.

Continuous production, loading via the hatch at one end and expulsion of digested matter at the other end.

Processes all organics including meats, dairy, fish, fruit, vegetables, compostable tableware and paper napkins up to 20% of the load.​​​​
