CityPod In-Vessel Composter

It takes approximately 6 weeks for the composting material to move along the full length of the cylinder during which it is converted into finished and ready-to-use compost that automatically discharges from the composter without any additional processing or labour after discharge. The biological process by which the food waste is converted into compost creates temperatures up to 55 degrees Celsius which are high enough to destroy pathogens, therefore enabling all food waste, including raw and cooked meat, fish and dairy solids to be processed in the CityPod composter.

The biological composting process requires a combination of “green” and “brown” materials to achieve an optimal Carbon to Nitrogen (C/N) ratio of 30:1. All food waste should be cut in small pieces of 5 x 5cm to help speed up the composting process by increasing the surface area of the compostable materials, making them accessible to composting microorganisms.

The CityPod series is available in four (4) models with processing capacities between 40 kg and 400 kg/day of putrescible organic matter.

Hungry Giant Dehydrator

The Hungry Giant Food Waste Dry Dehydration system (FWDD), turbo-charges the food waste decomposition process through accelerated dehydration and agitation.

The process does not require additives such as microbes, enzymes or freshwater and, whilst operating at safe temperatures, it eliminates pathogens. The dehydration process is complete in < 24 hours.

Converts and reduces food waste by 75-80% into a sterile biomass soil amendment.

Processes all organics including meats, fish, fruit, vegetables and paper and paper napkins up to 20% of the load.

The machine separates the moisture content by indirect heating and converts it to steam. Steam is then condensed and discharged into the sewer as distillate (100% sterile condensate No BOD, No TSS).

The dried remnants are discharged free of bacteria and pathogens.

The Hungry Giant series is available in nine (9) models with processing capacities between 30 kg and  1000 kg/day of putrescible organic matter.

Harp Biodigester

The Harp unique enzyme/microbes are specifically designed to optimize the decomposition of Organic Waste within the process i.e. to work in high temperatures with enhanced respiration. This process enables the continuous decomposition of organic matter to a dry nutrient-rich organic fertilizer within 24 hours. Converts and reduces food waste by 70%.

Continuous production, loading via the hatch at one end and expulsion of digested matter at the other end.

Processes all organics including meats, dairy, fish, fruit, vegetables, compostable tableware and paper napkins up to 20% of the load.

The machine separates the moisture content by indirect heating and converts it to steam. Steam is then condensed and discharged into the sewer as distillate (100% sterile condensate No BOD, No TSS).

The Harp Biodigester series is available in six (6) models with processing capacities between 100 kg and 5000 kg/day of putrescible organic matter.
